we flew over kuruvi's nest

On 5th may, myself, gopal and bala annas planned to go to "Kuruvi" in satyam. I booked the tkts over net (3x95) and felt happy on getting the tkt on 3rd day itself, tat too in satyam. i was very sure tat the film will be good as it s one of my favourite director's film (dharani) and has music by one of my favourite music director Vidyasagar. though im not satisfied wit the songs of the film i thought tat the songs will be good along wit the visuals....The film released on Saturday, i.e.on 3rd may....

Reviews about the film, from my brother's frnds, started arriving home...first comment i heard is "the film s sure flop"....i thought for a while and said to myself, "அவனுங்க எல்லாம் அஜித் fans, அப்படிதான் சொல்லுவாங்க, dont worry, 95rs waste ஆகாது"..... but by evening, most of the ppl told tat the films was a complete mokkai... thn a logged in to orkut and started browsing vijay's communities.... some of them said the films a another gilli and some of them said that the film s (another:) worst in vijay's career and atm(azhagiya tamil magan) was far better than this.....

அப்பவே ஒரு mind voice, "OH MY GOD!!!! NO WAY!!!!"..... cause atm was the worst(to say the least) film i saw in recent times (next to bheema ofcourse).... but again i said to myself, "lets wait till monday morning and get the review frm vijay fans"..... by sunday night, i got the actual feedback frm vijay fans, most of them dint liked the movie and reviews in various websites criticized the movie (deccan chronicle daily reported tat the film is bitter pills for Vijay fans)....
so i spoke wit both annas tat i'l sell the tkts, as our precious 100rs will be wasted, and go for santosh subramaniam instead...we did so...

About San-Su movie: usual frame to frame remake from remake brothers, ravi and raja....this time too, ravi tries a sidharth act, genelia chance illa, bayangara overacting, she beats jothika in some places...amidst so many yawns, the film was good overall, but i liked the telugu version much...
